At this years MacWorld, San Francisco based Academy of Art University did something well, creative. Academy of Art University had a booth which was described as a cutting-edge multimedia station where attendees had the exclusive opportunity to check out the lastest dynamic student work from the various school departments, including film, computer, photography, graphic design and animation schools.

Surrounded by companies such as Microsoft, Logitech, Epson and Adobe, the Academy was among some of the most respected names in the industry. Academy students use their products everyday to create innovative and awe-inspiring designs as demonstrated at the booth.

Steve Jobs announced Apple's newest laptop, the MacBook Air, just feet away from the Academy's booth.

"This laptop is perfect for computer design students on-the-go," says John Woodbridge, director of Academy of Art University's computer arts school. It is also the most environmentally friendly laptop, which complies with the Academy's dedication to green design.

Macworld Conference & Expo is the world's biggest Macintosh OS event, displaying products and services for professionals as well as for consumers. Macworld Conference & Expo offers attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest developments and hottest products in the Mac industry.

Industry professionals from a variety of companies such as Pixar, Walt Disney Animation and Sony fly in every year to attend Academy of Art University's Annual Spring Show. The Spring Show, which takes place at the end of May, showcases the best work from all 13 of the Academy's programs. For those interested in attending, please contact academyart.edu
